Disney says its newest video streaming service can launch in the U.S. as early as October.

The streaming support is predicted to take on rivals Netflix, HBO Go and Showtime Anytime. In streaming service Hulu, disney also owns a controlling stake.
Disney Plus will start in the previous quarter of this year. It will focus on shows that are family-friendly as soon as it starts, including a string about Marvel character Loki plus a live action Star Wars series.
Disney faces challenges as it builds a service to compete with the streaming leaders and finished a lucrative licensing association with Netflix in order to create the service.
